About Inez Tuck
Dr. Inez Tuck, Professor of Mental Health Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, has been an educator for over 30 years and a therapist, entrepreneur, consultant, and researcher in the areas of spirituality and health. She has studied and uses several self-healing practices to deal with the challenges and joys in her personal and professional life. Consistent with her strong advocacy for life-long education, she has degrees in business, child development and family relations, and nursing and has also studied theology. She is the author of several articles and the book, To Err is Human, a collection of readings that offers lessons for becoming an authentic, forgiving person. Through her ministries in Positive Outreach, she strives to help others achieve emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
 
Dr. Tuck currently conducts spiritual growth groups with persons suffering from chronic and terminal illnesses as well as with healthy adults who desire to explore their spiritual life. She is the mother of four adult children: twin daughters, one son, and a stepdaughter.
